what is a Fast twitch muscle and what do they do
A
Lighter in colour light red, respire anaerobicly, fast activitys , running , sprinting long jump, this is why there for short events, they consume energy at a faster rate. They tire out faster.

what is a slow twitch muscle and what does it do.
A
Red colour,get more oxygen respire erobicly and consume energy at a slower rate than fast twitch muscles this is why they are used in marathons and long time events, this means they take longer to tire out. get more blood than fast twitch muscle.
