neck pain –> tetraplegia

unable to hold up neck, generalized weakness, muscle atropy, rapid fatiuge, regurg, stiff gait
canine idiopathic polymyositis- pred + azathiprine
waxing and waining swollen muscles, pain when opening mouth, fever
MMM - pred + azazthrirpine
bilateral exopthalmus
extraocular myositis, pred
painful muscles, rigid after exercise, increased CK
exertional myopahty – dies from renal failure
ventral neck, stiff cait, NO neuro deficits
hypokalemic myopathy (older cat with renal disease)
flaccid tail after cage rest and a work out
limber tail – anti inflams
collapse after playing, rocking horse cait, dragging back legs
exercise intolerance and collpase – some die, phenobarb
dimpling of muscle after percussion
myotonia congenital
insane cat
feline hyperesthia syndrome – phenobarb
weakness following exercise, megaesophagus
myasthenia gravis –> pyridostigmine; tensilon test
LMN signs, hind then forelimb tetraparesis, respiratory signs, CN signs
botulism
paresis-tetraplegia, LMN signs, NO CN signs
