A

When a deficiency is found, the inspector shall take the following action: The deficiency will be recorded in the:
i. Daily Airfield Inspection Report daily until corrected
AND ii. Airfield Maintenance Log

What action shall be taken by the inspector based upon the inspector’s judgment

A

i. If the deficiency does not present an immediate and critical impact on the safety of aircraft operations, corrective action will be completed as soon as practicable
ii. If the deficiency presents an immediate and critical impact on the safety of aircraft operations, and corrective action AND cannot be completed immediately, a NOTAM will be issued as soon as possible
iii. If the deficiency is such that the surface is unsafe for aircraft operations, the surface will be closed and a NOTAM issued as soon as possible. The Director of Operations and the Director of Maintenance will immediately be notified. They will make the decision to call in appropriate personnel and equipment to correct the deficiency

ATCT shall when closing for the night

A

ATCT shall
Operate runway/taxiway lighting between sunset and sunrise
NOT take control of the lighting panel if it has been given to the vault for maintenance without verbal coordination
Before closing, set lighting as follows:
All taxiway and runways lights place on OFF
Rotating beacon ON
Pilot controlled lighting (PCL) enabled (and tested)
Place panel in VAULT control
If PCL is out of service set as follows:
HIRL on step 3 for RWY 15/33
MIRL on step 1 for RWY 1/19
Taxiway lights ON

Note: If runway is closed lights will be turned off and PCL disabled
