What is Ascites?
AKA 3rd spacing, the liver is no longer creating albumin for salts to cling to in the bloodstream. This causes the water in the blood stream to go to space 3 (interstitial) and this causes bloating, especially in the abdominal region.
Rickets
Lack of Ca+ and Vitamin D, causes poor bone formation
Osteomalacia
Occurs in young adults due to a lack of Ca+ and Vit. D, causing the bones to become soft.
