A

S/S intractable nausea, vomiting, dehydration leads to electrolyte imbalances and malnutrition

TX: IVFs, electrolyte and vitamin replacement, antiemetics, possible tola parental nutrition

s/s of a spontaneous abortion

A

-brown or bloody discharge to profuse vaginal bleeding with passage of tissue of products of conception

  • dx by HCG, blood type & Rh, transvag ultrasound

-tx oxytocin, suction curettage, RhoGAM to Rh, psychosocial care for both parents
