When there are two groups and they fight just because each group is different

What is social impact theory?
how people around you affect you/others

It diffuses, no one helps bucks it is deemed alright because it is what everyone else is doing

What theory did Rotter and others create?
The Locus of Control the idea that:
- External locus of control, people who believe in fate(more likely to obey)
- Internal locus of control, controlled by their own destiny (less likely to obey)
What does the agency theory suggest about people?
We have 2 states:
Autonomous-responsible for our own actions
Agentic- They allow someone to direct their behaviour and believe that responsibility lies on that person
