Common Noun
Common Nouns are never capitalized. They name something general, not specific.
Proper Noun
Proper Nouns are always capitalized. They name something specific-like the name of a place, a brand, or a person.
Abstract Noun
A noun that you cannot see, hear, smell, taste, or touch. (Hint: 5 Senses) Hunger, love, fear
Concrete Noun
Concrete Nouns describe things that can be seen or touched.
