A

Grey Turner’s sign -evidence of blood pooling in the retroperitoneal space. This happens as the pancreas is a retroperitoneal organ and inflammation can result in blood collecting in this space

which antibiotics can cause torades de pointes

A

Macrolides can cause Torsades de pointes (‘twisting of the points’) - form of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia associated with a long QT interval. It may deteriorate into ventricular fibrillation and hence lead to sudden death.
