  • Anonymity (eg. Reviewers remain anonymous)
  • Publication bias (eg. Preference to publish positive results, creating a false impression of the current state of psychology)
  • Burying groundbreaking research (eg. May suppress opposition to mainstream theories, falsely maintaining status, slowing down rate of change)
