A
When two metals are mixed together they are not completely soluble with one another so create phases

What can a phase diagram show you?
A
At any temperature and composition (percentage) they show you:
- Phases present
- Chemical composition
- Phase weight fraction

To find the temperature at which the eutectic reaction takes place you find where the liquidus line crosses the solidus line then look across
