The measure of the amount of energy.

The rate at which charge flows through a surface.

A
The hindrance of the flow of charge.

How does voltage behave in a series circuit?
A
The voltage is split between the resistors depending on its resistance.

How does the current behave in series?
A
The current is the same for all resistors and has the value of the total current.

How does voltage behave in parallel?
A
The voltage drop of each parallel branch is equal.

How does current behave in parallel?
A
The current splits at the junction of the branches. The sum of the current in each individual branch is equal to the total current.
