Sow = female pig that has had litter of piglets
Barrow = castrated male pig
V-boar = vasectomised boar
Boar = male pig of breeding age
Farrowing = process of pig giving birth

Weaning:
Weaned up to 35kg
Irregular feed intake (anorexia then gorging)
Atrophy of villi -> scours
Importance of diet, water and heat

Growing/finishers:
35-100kg
