(pretesting) Designed to assess strengths and weaknesses of materials or campaign strategies before implementation

How smoothly is the intervention carried out? Procedures and tasks involved in implementing a program, administrative and organizational aspects, task focused results that describe the output of the activity number of public inquires received as a result of a media campaign
Process evaluation activity assessments
Numbers of health screenings, program attendance, and audience response
Progress in attaining objectives monitored process evaluation
Periodic calculation of percentage of target audience aware, referred, participating
Impact (long term outcome) evaluation
Most comprehensive, long range results, changes and improvements in health status, changes and improvement in dietary intake, difficult due to cost and clearly determining that intervention created the change
