Xylem are cells for transport of water and minerals up the stem from the roots to the leaves.

What is Transpiration?

A

Transpiration is the loss of water from leaves. This occurs through small openings called stomata that are found in the epidermis of leaves and young stems. Stomata are generally numerous on the outside leaves. They also provide for the exchange of gases between the outside air and the and the branched system of interconnecting air canals within the leaf . (NB stomate is singular, stomata is plural)

A

The difference between an animal and plat cell is, that the animal cell does not have a cell wall unlike the plant cell. And plant cell has a Vacuole while the animal cell does not have a vacuole at all.
