A

Type 1- polymicrobial with anaerobes and aerobes (staph aureus). Seen in those with comorbidities
Type 2- monomicrobiral with strep pyogenes (A)
More common in healthy with history of trauma
Gas gangrene- caused by clostridium perfiningens
