How would someone present with pneumonia?

A
Green sputum.
SOB.
Fever.
Haemoptysis.
Pleuritic chest pain (over the point of consolidation).
Sepsis. 
Delirium.

What would you find upon examination?

A

Crackles.
Increased RR.
Dull percussion over the lungs.
Bronchial breath sounds - harsh breath sounds equally loud over inspiration.

Describe the CURB65 score?

A
Confusion.
Urea >7.
RR > or equal to 30.
BP <90 systolic or <60 diastolic.
Over 65. 

Each of these you get a point.
>2 consider admitting to hospital.
>3 consider intensive care assessment
