What are the initial duties that have to completed before bailing a prisoner?

A

Custody charge sheet completed correctly (signed by an NCO before the Notice of Police Bail is completed.

Handwriting sample obtained for fingerprint form.

Address (prisoner’s) and other details have been verified.

Fingerprints and / or palm prints obtained.Photograph taken.

Authority to bail prisoner obtained from supervisor.

Not Wanted check made to ensure prisoner is not wanted.
