-People in Ireland voted Sinn Fein - no support from IPP anymore

-Both resigned and DLG created a Coalition with Labour and Conservatives. (Asquith refused to join and split the Liberals)

-Labour established the National Government in 1931 which continued until 1945 due to the bad economic crisis and then ww2 -However, the national government's were essentially Conservative governments
