E - the USA senate and the house of representative may not both have a majority of representatives belonging to the governing as both hold separate elections meaning bills could be introduced by the opposition party in one chamber of congress.
E - the house of representative have a rebublican majority with 222 seats and the senat with a rebulican lead of 49seats

Uk committee stage

A

E - because in the uk both the hol and the hoc have a committee stage with similar procurers and powers of amending and scrutinising bills are made, both the HOC and HOL can make changes
E - the prevention of terrorism bill when the crown has to pass it with speed in 2005, bills of very uncontreversial nature of PMB can pass without this stage or DO DOMESTIC ABUSE ACT

USA committee stage

A

E - both the HOR and the senate have similar powers and procedures and like in the uk in congress the committee stage is where experts make amendments and add to the bill to improve it for society
E - the railway safety act introduced on march 1st of 2023 sponsored by sen sherrod brown with a prognosis at 82% it was in committee stage as of December 2023

UK royal assent

A

E - all bills must revive a signature from the king even bill from the Scottish Parliament the king is obligated to sign the bills
E - the monarch has not refused royal assent since 1707

Presidential action

A

E - in the USA a bill is sent to the White House and in contra to the uk is that the president has an option he does not need to sign the bill, he can sign the bill, veto the bill where he does not sign the bill and says why or pocket vetos the bill where he allows the bill to become law at objection of the president
E - the affordable car act was signed into law on march 23rd 2010 which addressed health insurance coverage signed by the president.
