Any systematic effort performed at any place in the social fields to move other man and persuade some design cherish by the mouver can be regarded as political and this involves désagrément and the reconciliation of those désagréments and therefore can occur at any level
Influence
Ability to peruse other to do what you want them to do voluntary
Convince them that’s what they want to do
- intellect ( it’s best)
- passion ( emotion)
- solidarity (community group)
Coercion
Deliberate suggestion if one will to another through fear of unpleasant consequences or harm when coercion is applied compliance is not voluntary
- violence
- fear of consequences
- not justice
Government try to control coercion and use of violence • serve or protect • protect people from one another • protect the government * expensive * time consuming * hard
Authority
A form of power in which people obey command not because they’ve been emotionally persuaded or because they fear for the consequences of disobedience but simply because they respect the source of the command
- most individual submit to authority voluntarily
Sovereignty
Somebody that is superior the authority that overrule all other authority
- make the law
- enforce the law
- maintains other authority
- give sovereignty to other community right to exercise internal rule
States
A state exists when a sovereign power effectively rules over a population residing within the boundaries of afire authority
Nation
Definition isn’t scientific
Politics issues/ strategies
Being a nation lead to power nation have to find way to peaceful exist
Citizen
Members of a state
Most basic right is to be there
To comeback and leave
Legitimacy
Accepting the command feeling for respect dor authority that exist in those that obey makes authority possible. Public authority need legitimacy
