60-80% women will be asymptomatic by 12 months
Risk of further OASIS 5-7%
17% will have worsening symptoms after further vaginal deliveries, if there was faecal incontinence beyond 3 months postnatally but resolution within 6 months

If still symptomatic or defect still shown on endo anal USS, then patients should be counselled about elective C/S
