> 100mL/kg/day
What measurement defines polyuria?

If a PU/PD case is polyphagic, what are your top ddx?
DM, hyperadrenocorticism, hyperthyroidism
If a PU/PD case also has weight loss, what are the most common ddx?
Renal/hepatic failure, neoplasia, DM, hyperthyroidism
If you have skin/coat changes along with PU/PD what are your top ddx?
Hyperadrenocorticism (dog) and hyperthyroidism (cat)
If you have vulvar discharge along with PU/PD what is your top ddx?
Pyometra
If you have a rectal mass along with PU/PD what is your top ddx?
Anal sac carcinoma
If you have bilateral cataracts in a dog w/PU/PD what is your top ddx?
Diabetes mellitus
If you have lymphadenopathy in a PU/PD case what is your top ddx?
Lymphoma (or other neoplasia)
What is the main diagnostic test that can provide a lot of information in helping rule in or out causes of PU/PD?
Minimum database (CBC, chem)
