Diagnostics for median arcuate ligament syndrome

A

caused by compression of the celiac artery or celiac ganglia by the median arcuate ligament.

postprandial abdominal pain, weight loss, and rarely abdominal bruit.

CTA shows celiac artery narrowing. Increased velocities with expiration and improvement in inspiration is diagnostic of MALS.
