In painting of god he is mostly painted as an old man which would symbolise him as a wise, loving father. He is also described as onmipotent

God is shown in the Old Testament part of the Bible as an angry God, who punishes his people for wrongdoing

What does this mean for Christians ?

As a Christian, they should strive to be ‘like Christ’. Therefore, they will try to follow God’s example in the world.They can teach the qualities of God so that they can develop a personal relationship with him.
