  • actions of the priest may relive sin
  • services (holy communion) may help closer connection to God / Jesus
  • worldwide order, so is familar to those travelling or visiting
  • sense of tradition may provide comfort
  • easier to join in with if new member of church

A

a service that doesnt follw a set text / ritual
- in some churches (methodist, babtist ect) follow this and adapt services for certain themes
- prayer order and hymms may vary week to week but basic strucutre is the same
