Q

advantages of sexual reproduction:

A
  • produces variation in offspring; meaning if the environment changes it is likely that an organism within the species will provide a survival instinct
  • allows for selective breeding; mixing organisms with different characteristics can be bred to produce off spring with desirable characteristics
  • speeds up natural selection
