Sexual reproduction
The process involving the fusion of an egg from the female and sperm from the male to produce genetically similar offspring.

- involves only one parent
- produces copies that are genetically identical to the parent

Sticky portion at the top of the style where pollen grains usually land

The transfer of pollen from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower
