Bare Hook

A
  • Can be delivered to the water or hoisting platform for rescue device and rescue swimmer recoveries
  • May be delivered by itself or while utilizing the weight bag and/or sling
  • When icing or freezing conditions are present, keep in mind of locking mechanism position. Locking mechanism could potentially become frozen in open or locked position

A

  • 120 to 150 gallons per minute at a 10ft suction lift
  • 4 HP engine
  • 1 Gal (3.8L) gas tanks included in can
  • Pump will run for 4 to 6 hours per tank
  • 20ft discharge hose (3” diameter) permanently attached

HSD (Hoist Static Discharge Cable)

A
  • Is a 10ft wire cable that attaches to the hoist hook and extends below the RS
  • Helps discharge static electricity by grounding the aircraft through the hoist cable prior to RS coming into contact with the surface
