What is the bell jar experiment?
Where we have a bell jar with 2 balloons hanging from small glass (which have there own hole out of the top of the bell jar) tubes, with a sealed top except from ^ hole with a stretchy elastic sheet at the bottom
What did the elastic sheet represent?
A diaphragm
What did the balloons represent?
Lungs
What did the bell jar represent?
Our rib cage
What happened to the balloons when we pulled the elastic sheet?
The air pressure lowered and the forced air into the balloons
