Gas exchange takes place within the Alveoli
What are the two most important structures for breathing?
Intercoastal muscles and Diaphragm
During inspiration, why does the Diaphragm move down?
To allow more room to be able to breathe.
What process helps Gas exchange to take place?
Diffusion
Why are capillaries and alveoli thin and one cell thick?
To be able to allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through them
