What’s the difference between a hyperbole and a euphemism?
Hyperbole= exaggeration, not true
Euphemism=same meaning worded differently
What is a flashback?
Writer describes and earlier time in the story, explains something that will help the reader understand the plot and characters better
What is foreshadowing?
A clue or hint about what will happen later in the story
She got cold feet
It was raining cats and dogs
Idiom
Common phrase or expression that means something different from what the words actually say
What is the difference between a flashback and imagery
A flashback is from earlier in the story and helps inform reader on characters, imagery creates pictures in the readers mind and is used to appeals to the readers senses
