what is a moral decision?
A tough or difficult life choce that people may have to make.
Why is the Bible important for christens making moral decisions?
1) The bible is the word of God so has authority
2) The bible contains the techings of Jesus on how to live.
3) The bible contains the 10 commandments eg. do not kill
4) The bible contains letters from the apostles who were guided by the holy spirit. The letters give christens guidance.
What is the authority of the church as a basis for making moral dissisions.
1) God speeks to christens through the church
2) The church is guided by God
3) Following the guidance of the chirch stops christens being confused. They can make sure there doing the right thing
4) They believe the church is the body of Christ and is Jesus today so it has the same authority as him
Why SHOULD you follow your conscience?
1) God speeks to christens through their conscience
2) The church says you should follow your conscience and christens are expected to follow the chirch
3) StPaul and St Thomas Auquintas tought to follow your conscience.
4) THe bible has been translated and needs to be interpreted. The conscience is god speeking directly to individuals.
Why you should you NOT follow your conscience?
1) people have been mistaken about the voce of God eg. the yorkser ripper
2) use the bible instead
3) youse the church instead
4) if everyone followed their own rules life would be chacos
Why some christens DO use situation ethics
1) Jesus used situation ethis (over ruled old testament)
2) you should only do what will produce good results
3) Jesous said ONLY to love your nabor and golden rule
4) Christianty is a religion of love and forgiveness
why some Christians do NOT use situation ethics
1) God whould not have given his laws in the bible if they wernt to be followed
2) The church knows better
3) They should follow the 10 commandments because other christens agree
4) you can never know what the consiquences might be

1) Meny christens are against civil partnerships human rights allows this

3) some christens are against homosexuals rasing a family
4) if a woman wanted to be a preast and used human rights against the church
What is a Dimocrocy
A dimocrocy is the way that all citcens can be involved in the running of a country
What are Elections
Electons are the way that a dimocricy is carried out, as all citizens over the age of 18 can vote for who they want th run thire country
