1)set up clamp stand,2 bosses and 2 clamps
2)attach meter rule+spring (top of spring must be at 0 point on rule,which is vertical)
3)read position of pointer (unstretched length of spring)
4)hang 1N weight on spring-read pointer
5)keep adding 1N weights and reading pointer
6)work out extension

1)toy car attached to string,attached to 100g mass
2)draw chalk lines at intervals eg 10 cm
3)hold car at start point,let go
4)start timer, record time car passes each interval marked
5)repeat few times,decreasing mass each time
