Note: Because CLEAR is synchronous, number “12” counts.
Note: If it didn’t mention the sync/async, we assumed async and in this case, 12 wouldn’t count, and opt 1 would’ve been correct. because it’d clear so fast that 12 is not even seen on the output terminal.

Note: We’re looking for a counter that can count for 1 hour, it should add 10 every minute, 60 x 10=600, so at least we need a 10 bit counter. (10 flipflops)

If we don’t have the order of MSB to LSB, we must check using the options. if we give 000, Anext=1 Bnext=0 Cnext=0, if ABC we’d have 0 to 4 but it’s 0 to 1 in options so it’s CBA.

Note: If load=0, the counter increases 1 unit per clock, so at first, everything is 0, output is 0, and load is 0, so with one clock we move to 1, then T1=1 so load is 1 and we output whatever we have in the input, so 4.
