the fact or process of a species, family, or other group of animals or plants becoming extinct.
Ex. Dinosaurs

Genetic Variation
Genetic variation is the difference in DNA sequences between individuals within a population
Ex. Human’s traits
Sentence: There is a lot of genetic variation in the world
Population
all the inhabitants of a particular town, area, or country.
Ex. The number of people in the world
Sentence: There is a huge population in the world
Successful Reproduction
Reproductive success is defined as the passing of genes onto the next generation in a way that they too can pass those genes on.
Ex. The offspring is created normally
