It’s when someone tries to control what other people can access on the Internet

It’s the act of monitoring what people are looking at on the Internet

People can feel pressured to buy or upgrade to the latest device
How does smart phones being released affect people?
- Helps people work
- Helps people communicate with others
What is cyber bullying?
It’s when someone uses social media to purposefully hurt someone else
What is trolling?
It’s when someone tries to cause public arguments with others online.
What health problems can using too much technology cause?
- Eyestrain
- Repetitive Strain Injury ( like fingers and wrists)
- Back problems
Why is the digital divide created?
It’s because someone people have more access to technology than others
What are some causes of the digital divide?
- People cannot afford latest technology
- Urban areas have greater network coverage than rural areas
- People don’t know how to use the internet (like older people)

- Increases e-waste
- Devices will not degrade
