  1. Conduct when exercising authority
    -Accept authority, be impartial, be firm, and earn the respect of the public; the goal is to avoid altercations.
  2. Professional demeanor
  3. Personal Appearance- maintain high standards
  4. Personal attitudes
  5. Assistance to others- render assistance to the public; response must be prompt
  6. Attention to duty- alert, vigilant, no-intoxicants.
  7. Seeking favors- do not seek personal advantage, nor accept acts of favoritism or display acts of favoritism
  8. Punishment of offenders- we are not a judge, may not admonish or reprimand.
  9. Apprehension/ Detention of Suspects
  10. Off Duty Conduct
  11. Protection of Privacy-Do not discuss offenses, or incidents, except in the line of duty.
