A

When you separate an insoluble solid from the solution. You use filter paper inside a funnel and the solid that’s left is residue.

Q

Chromatography

A

Chromatography can be used to separate mixtures of coloured compounds. You draw a line in pencil because it’s insoluble so you will know how far the ink has moved up. The colours deprecate because the more soluble the colours the further they will move up. U put the end of the filter paper in some water which will make it move up.
