anteriority :
P = past perfect - S. = past simple
posteriority = future in the past (would + be)

exceptions:
1) general truths, habitual actions, quotations, facts –> present tense
2) comparative (than) –> any tense
3) attributive –> any tense
ex. she met the men who will lead the party
4) causative -> any tense
she didn’t call because she will meet him tonight
5) adjectival –> who, whom, whose, where, when, which, that, ​and ​why​ as connectors to the subordinative
