A

Directly suppresses DNA RNA polymerase

Dose dependant nephrotoxicity very severe (acute tubular necrosis)

Tremors seizures (Electrolyte imbalance)
Hyperkalemia hypercalcemia &  lactic acidosis

Contra with pentamadine (nephrotoxicity)
