What is the difference between nomothetic and ideographic research?
A
- nomothetic is research done on groups
- ideographic research uncovers individual’s principle’s in behavior

What is a withdrawal design?
A
When there is a baseline, treatment is applied, then removed, and repeated
- ABAB (apply, withdraw, apply, withdraw)
- ABAC (C is a different intervention)
- ABCB (C is a placebo)

What is a reversal design?
A
After giving treatment, a reversal treatment is given
- baseline- treatment- reverse- treatment

What is alternating treatments design?
A
has two or more treatments that are either systematically or randomly alternating. (most likely to know which treatment is the most effective among the others)

A
When treatment is started at different times (Doesn’t need a withdrawal)
