What is the difference between nomothetic and ideographic research?

  • nomothetic is research done on groups
  • ideographic research uncovers individual’s principle’s in behavior

What is a withdrawal design?

A

When there is a baseline, treatment is applied, then removed, and repeated
- ABAB (apply, withdraw, apply, withdraw)
- ABAC (C is a different intervention)
- ABCB (C is a placebo)

A

After giving treatment, a reversal treatment is given
