Positive ANA
What investigations are done for Sjogren’s
Serology = Anti-RO/Anti-LA/ANA Schirmer test (Inducing tears that travel <10mm)
How is Sjogren’s treated
Artificial tears/saliva and lube
Hydroxychloroquine can be given
What is Scleroderma (CREST Syndrome)
Systemic condition with limited cutaneous scleroderma
What are the CREST symproms of Scleroderma
Calcinosis Raynauds Esophageal Dysmotility Sclerodactyly Telangetectasia (Spider veins)
What is Calcinosis
Calcium deposits in Sub Cut tissue causing renal fail
What is Raynauds
Digit ischemia caused by vasospasm
- Exac by cold
- Relief with heat
