Q

How does bone remodelling work?

A
  • the process of ossification and resorption
  • ossification involves taking minerals from the bloodstream such as calcium and magnesium and using it to build hard bone
  • in order for a bone to maintain its size and strength the rate of resorption = the rate of ossification
