What is vocalisation?
any sound an animal might make to communicate

behaviours that maintain group cohesion and reinforce social bonds

chemical that trigger a social response in members of the same species

any behaviour related to fighting but includes threat displays and retreat

a ranking system in social groups, usually based on dominance

two animals of the same species engage in reciprocal cleaning and grooming
What is altruism?
behaviour of an animal that benefits another at it’s own expense

an individual’s preferential access to resources over another; high social status
