How does sound travel?

A

Sound travels by AIR PARTICLES colliding with each other and passing the SOUND ENERGY on by causing the particles to VIBRATE MORE (they are ALREADY moving).

What is amplitude and frequency?

A

AMPLITUDE: The height of the peak or trough part of the wave. The bigger the height, the louder the sound.
FREQUENCY: The number of waves passing a point every second. The bigger the number, the higher the pitch of the sound.
