INSTRUCTION
-undertake full inspiration
-give maximum effort during inspiration
-ensure expiration continues for six seconds, or sop early if done incorrectly
-repeat manouvre, until acceptable and reproducible efforts achieved
(<200ml or <5% variation in FEV1 and FVC)
-dispose used mouth piece
-compare fvc and fev1 with normal values
