How is the texture built up?

A

Individual tracks are introduced one by one: A1 (piano only), A2 (voice enters), A3 (drums and a synth string countermelody enter), A4 (bass and held synth string chords enter), A5 (syncopated piano chords are introduced)

A = male sample
B = female sample
x is the first chord sequence of the chorus and y is the second

What happens texturally after the breakdown?

A

The texture becomes thinner as piano and drums drop out for Bx2. They re-enter for By2 and 3 then drop out until the end
