What is succession?
A
The change in a plant community through time.

What is Climatic Climax?
A
The final stage of a plant succession where the vegetation is in balance with the environmental conditions.

What is Primary succession?
A
Occurs on surfaces that have had no previous vegetation. There are two types- Xeroseres and Hydroseres.

What is Secondary succession?
A
Succession taking place on land that was formerly vegetated but has undergone loss of that vegetation.
