C=reflects James 1st belief witches are evil as described in the ‘Daemonoligie’.

D=ghost isn’t real and is just a projection of his guilty conscience
R= ghosts terrifies the audience, dead will be punished. C= gunpowder plot.

L=rhyming couplet, MB is now evil as they didn’t mention this when he came upon them at the start of the play.
C= witches could detect evil
