Endocervical NAAT swab (chlamydia, gonorrhoea +- trichomonas): place tip in endocervix and rotate for 10 seconds

High-vaginal charcoal media swab (BV, candidia, group B strep, trichomonas): place tip in posterior fornix and rotate for 10 seconds

Question 2

Triple swabs

Answer 2

High-vaginal charcoal media swab (BV, candida, group B strep, trichomonas): place tip in posterior fornix and rotate for 10 seconds

Endocervical charcoal media swab (Gonorrhoea): place tip in endocervix and do one 360 sweep

Endocervical chlamydia swab: scrub endocervical region in and out for 10-30 seconds. Once done break off into sample tube
